Healing Rooms exist  to serve the community and the Body of Christ while contending for all that Christ promised the church would move in, "the works that I do shall you do also and greater works than these." (John 14:12) .

Healing Rooms Ministry is a Christ-centered ministry based on the completed work of Christ on the Cross (Isa 54, Mt. 8) and on Jesus' Commission to "lay hand on the sick (Mk. 16:18)."

Thank-you for checking us out!

As you will quickly see, we are a ministry "in process." Healing Rooms is a new ministry being developed in our region, though it is not a new concept.

The Healing Rooms of Franklin County are NOW open!

Offering the healing power of Jesus Christ through prayer to all who are sick in body, soul, and spirit.

Using the biblical healing ministry model of John G. Lake, a pioneer of the American healing movement of the early 20th century, our healing teams are trained to minister healing in Jesus' name.

The Healing Rooms of Franklin County are open for ministry to the church and the community:

1st & 3rd Monday Evening of Each Month 6:30-8:00 PM

For information about the Franklin County Healing Rooms, for directions or to make an appointment, please call us at 717-352-2870.

Missionary-Evangelist, John G. Lake, established the first "healing room" in the early 1900's, in Spokane, WA. Today, there are hundreds and hundreds of healing rooms across the nation and around the world.

The vision is to have an established place, in a region, where people who are sick and hurting can come to receive compassionate, hands-on ministry and prayer from ordinary believers who believe in a good God who cares about His creation- and has provided, through Jesus (Isa 54, Mt. 8), the means to bring that healing to them (Mk. 16:18).

Healing Rooms are a place where ordinary believers, like you and I, can be equipped to minister healing to the sick (Mk. 16:18), reach out and meet a real need in society, and where believers of *various denominations and fellowships can come together under the banner of "Christ as Healer ."

If you would like more information of learning how to pray for the sick, and ministering to the sick through locval Healing Rooms, or on supporting this new ministry, either financially or through prayer, please e-mail Pastor Ryan Miller at FranklinCountyHealingRooms@yahoo.com.

*There will be no attempt to have people leave their church, or to stop paying tithes or offerings to their home church. Those who are not a part of the congregation of Greenwood Assembly of God will be required to have a referral from their local pastor. While this ministry is being launched, initially, through Greenwood, the goal is to develop a non-denominational ministry which will eventually grow to a place where ministry will occur outside of the church building, in a location in the community.

No fees will be charged. Donations are accepted, but not expected.

The Franklin County Healing Rooms are located in a wheelchair accessible local church. Please use the rear entrance.

Do you have a heart to see the healing ministry of Jesus Christ impact this region-and beyond?

If so, would you consider sowing financially into "The Healing Rooms of Franklin County?" Your first place of giving should be your local fellowship, but, if you have a heart to see a place where people can come to receive healing prayer, in our region, please consider giving, financially(no amount is too small), into this ministry.

The goal is to move the Healing Rooms out of a church building and into a neutral place in the community where the sick and hurting can come and receive ministry.

Whether you give a one-time gift, or give on a regular basis, you can have a part in seeing this ministry launched and grow to touch many, many lives (Read Acts 9 to see the impact of just one healing in the early Church. More people are impacted than just the one receiving a healing. There is definitely a "ripple effect!").

While In Your Prayer Closet...

Would you consider including "The Healing Rooms of Franklin County" in your prayer time?

If so, we would love to know that you are praying for us, and would love to send you an occasional (We will not share your e-mail address or bombard your in-box. We promise!) e-mail letting you know how to better pray for us, and to share what God is doing through the ministry.
